🥭 2-Ingredient Mango Sorbet | Refreshing & Low-Histamine

The purest form of indulgence! This sorbet is a lifesaver on hot days or when you’re craving something sweet. Since we don’t use cream, refined sugar, or artificial flavors, it’s the perfect choice for your Happy Hista Life.

Store-bought ice cream is often a trap: emulsifiers, dyes, and flavorings can fill your histamine bucket faster than you’d like. Our Mango Sorbet is different. We use the natural creaminess of mango (SIGHI 0), which takes on a texture like fine dairy ice cream when frozen. A splash of lime (if tolerated) or our beloved verjus provides the necessary tang. Fast, healthy, and absolutely gut-friendly!

Ingredients

  • 14 oz (400g) Organic Mango: (Diced and frozen overnight OR flash-frozen store-bought mango, SIGHI 0).

  • 1-2 tbsp Sour Verjus or a splash of fresh Lime: (Verjus is the safer Level 0 choice; lime is Level 1, please test individually).

  • Optional: A few fresh mint leaves for garnish.

Preparation

  1. Prep: If using fresh mangoes, peel, dice, and freeze for at least 4–6 hours. If using store-bought frozen mango, use it directly.

  2. Blend: Place the frozen mango chunks and the verjus (or lime) into a high-powered blender or food processor.

  3. Pulse: Pulse briefly to break up the chunks, then blend on high until a creamy, smooth texture forms. (If the blender struggles, add 1–2 tbsp of water or Forever Aloe Vera Gel™).

  4. Serve: Scoop the sorbet into small bowls and enjoy immediately while the consistency is perfect.
