Quinoa is the ideal alternative to oatmeal. It is naturally gluten-free and provides all essential amino acids. Combined with the natural sweetness of maple syrup and the freshness of blueberries, this porridge is a real treat for a comfortable morning.

Want to start your day full of energy without stressing your gut? Our Blueberry Quinoa Porridge is the perfect solution for anyone seeking a high-protein alternative to traditional oatmeal. Quinoa is a true low-histamine superfood that keeps you full longer and pairs beautifully with the freshness of berries.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Organic Quinoa: (White quinoa is the mildest and SIGHI-compliant).

  • 3/4 cup Water or Organic Oat Milk: (Unsweetened, without additives).

  • 1 pinch Sea Salt: To balance the sweetness.

  • 1/4 tsp Ground Vanilla: (Pure bourbon vanilla, no added sugar).

  • 1-2 tbsp Organic Maple Syrup (Grade A): A gentle, safe sweetener.

  • Topping: A handful of fresh blueberries (SIGHI 0) and some pumpkin seeds.

Preparation

  1. Rinse: Rinse the quinoa thoroughly in a fine-mesh strainer under hot water to remove any bitter saponins.

  2. Boil: Place quinoa, liquid, vanilla, and salt in a small pot and bring to a boil.

  3. Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 12–15 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.

  4. Sweeten: Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, and stir in the maple syrup.

  5. Happy Hista Extra: Stir in 0.7 fl. oz. of Forever Aloe Berry Nectar™ *  and top with fresh blueberries.

Product Recommendation

We recommend pairing this with Forever Aloe Berry Nectar™ *. It features 90.7% pure Aloe Vera gel with the added benefits of cranberry and apple. Since apples are a safe “green light” food (SIGHI 0), this nectar complements the blueberry flavor beautifully while supporting your gut health.
