Sometimes your body needs a reset button. This smoothie combines the tropical sweetness of mango with the nutrient-rich power of kale. Not only is it visually appealing, but it also provides you with valuable omega-3 fatty acids from hemp seeds. The highlight? A dash of aloe vera gel for an extra dose of vitality.

Green smoothies often get a bad rap in the low-histamine community because most recipes rely on spinach. Not ours! We use kale—a true superfood that is highly tolerated according to the SIGHI list (Level 0). Combined with mango and hemp seeds, we’ve created a drink that fuels your cells and gently supports your gut.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 fresh Organic Mango: (Ripe but firm, SIGHI 0).

  • 1 handful Organic Kale: (Thoroughly washed, stems removed).

  • 2 tbsp Shelled Hemp Seeds: (A safe, low-histamine protein source).

  • 3/4 cup Water or Coconut Water: (Ensure 100% purity for coconut water).

  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup: (Optional, depending on the mango’s sweetness).

  • Happy Hista Extra: 0.7 fl. oz. Forever Aloe Vera Gel™ *.

Preparation

  1. Prep: Peel the mango and remove the pit. Wash the kale and tear it into smaller pieces.

  2. Mix: Place all ingredients (mango, kale, hemp seeds, water) into a high-speed blender.

  3. Boost: Add the Forever Aloe Vera Gel™.

  4. Blend: Blend on high until completely smooth and vibrant green.

  5. Enjoy: Drink immediately while fresh to get the full nutrient density.

Product Recommendation

The star of this smoothie is our Forever Aloe Vera Gel™ * . Containing 99.7% pure inner leaf aloe gel, it aids in nutrient absorption and is the ideal addition to your gut-friendly morning routine.

Why this Recipe is Low-Histamine Friendly

  • Kale over Spinach: While spinach is a well-known histamine liberator, kale is considered absolutely safe and nutrient-dense according to the SIGHI list.

  • Mango Advantage: Mango is one of the few tropical fruits that is generally excellently tolerated in a low-histamine diet.

  • Hemp Seeds: These are a fantastic, low-histamine protein source and do not contain biogenic amines often found in nuts or soy.

  • Freshness First: Because the smoothie is made with fresh or flash-frozen ingredients and consumed immediately, there is no opportunity for histamine to develop during storage.
